Rachel Dunn, MSW, LCSW
Administrator
Outpatient Mental Health Therapist
Clinic Location: Janesville
Rachel graduated from UW-Whitewater School of Social Work with a BSW in 2005 and her MSW from George Williams College of Aurora University in 2009.
She began her career in child welfare, investigating abuse and neglect and quickly found a passion for working with children and families. After beginning her own family, she returned for her graduate degree and began providing mental health services for adults with severe and persistent mental health diagnoses. It wasn't long until she realized how much she missed working in child welfare and wanted to combine her passion of child welfare and mental health work.
Currently, Rachel provides outpatient mental health therapy and is a clinic administrator. She specializes in trauma work and is trained in EMDR and Brainspotting. She especially likes working with children and families from different backgrounds and varying lived experiences. Rachel's other passion is working with first responders. In addition to providing individual, family and group treatment, she supervises the intern and training license programs at Crossroads and facilitates different trainings in the community.
Outside of regular job duties, she is a lecturer for the Sandra Rosenbaum School of Social Work at UW-Madison and serves on the board of directors for the GIFTS Men's Shelter and is a member of the Rock County Anti-Human Trafficking Taskforce. In her free time, Rachel also works on different publications for journals and various textbooks.
