Crossroads provides quality, cost-effective treatment that encompasses social and emotional issues while integrating home, school and community resources.

history

Crossroads Counseling Center has a longstanding history of providing community based mental health services to individuals, families and groups across the lifespan. We provide innovative, cost-effective, and client-centered treatment through a variety of treatment levels and modalities.

founded

Crossroads was founded in 1973 by Guy Shilts, Bob Long and Professor Dick Wagner in a store front on Main Street in Janesville. In 2002, Crossroads began a new initiative providing the first South-Central Wisconsin Child-Adolescent Day Treatment Program, followed by a School Based Day Treatment Program in 2008. Crossroads was one of the first State certified outpatient clinics for mental health services in Wisconsin.

What People Are Saying

“My experience of my daughter's treatment at Sun Prairie Crossroads is that they are caring and competent. Most importantly, my daughter was interested in going each day (even though it was often challenging) and the behavioral changes she made while in the program were positive, noticeable and stuck. Thank you very much!”
