Mary Kate graduated from UW-Whitewater with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Services Leadership from UW-Oshkosh.  Mary Kate started as an intern at Crossroads, completed her advanced placement internship and has been here ever since. 

Mary Kate has extensive experience working with children in different capacities including outpatient therapy, in home therapy, case management.  Mary Kate loves to get creative with mental health and uses unique ways for children and families to express and identify their feelings, advocate for themselves, help them understand themselves, learn to heal, teach tools to help clients work through their struggles, and teaches self-love. Mary Kate also facilitates a weekly social skills group to help children ages 5 and up. She has a strong passion to help children and adults heal from traumatic experiences and uses EMDR as a tool to heal.
