Julie has been working in the field of mental health/AODA in a variety of treatment settings for nearly 40 years, with the last 25 dedicated to treatment of Trauma, Dissociative disorders and Ego State Work.  In addition to traditional cognitive trauma treatment approaches, Julie has trained extensively in a number of somatically based trauma treatment modalities inclusive of, but not limited to, EFT, Holographic Memory Resolution, EMDR, Brainspotting, and The Comprehensive Resource Model, most recently with emphasis in generational trauma processing work.  Since 2006, Julie has been serving as adjunct faculty at UW-Whitewater, teaching an undergrad course of Introduction to Counseling and graduate courses of Practicum and Trauma Treatment.  Julie’s clients and students remain her best teachers.
