Jen received her Bachelors in Psychology from UW-Madison in 1996. She had worked in the daycare setting until starting her Master's. She received her Master’s degree with an emphasis in School Counseling from Andrew's University in 1999. Jen worked with at-risk youths at a residential treatment center while attending graduate school. She has worked 10 years at the Elementary level and 10 years at the High School level, as a School Counselor, for the School District of Janesville. Jen applied for her LPC license in 2018. Since 2018, Jen has spent many hours in the Intensive Outpatient Group and Day Treatment Program at Crossroads while working as a full time School Counselor. In summer of 2021, Jen started working more for Crossroads as an outpatient therapist. Jen specifically loves to work with teenagers and young adults. She is enjoying the slower pace in the outpatient clinic setting. Jen really enjoys listening and getting to know each one of her clients. Jen will be applying for a Substance Abuse Counselor license this year (2022). She has learned so much from parenting 2 boys and working with children and teenagers for the last 20 plus years.
