Outpatient Mental Health Therapist Clinic Location: Janesville

Angelina graduated with her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater and is an outpatient mental health provider at Crossroads Counseling Center. She also provides counseling at YWCA Rock County and serves as the Mental Health Advisor for the multi-disciplinary team at the YWCA CARE House Child Advocacy Center. She has over six years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults impacted by trauma, domestic violence, crisis, and anxiety.

She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for all ages and uses Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based interventions. She continues to train in the neurobiology of trauma and healing, including how experiences and environments influence the brain and body through epigenetics. Through these evidence-based approaches, she works to create a safe, collaborative space where clients can discover their own inner strength, while valuing their role as the expert of their own story.

Alongside her social work training, Angelina holds a Master of Music Performance and previously taught voice lessons and workshops at the university level. Her background in music required in-depth study of anatomy and physiology, which she now applies in therapy by teaching clients deep breathing and mindfulness practices that regulate stress, support healing, and strengthen the mind–body connection.
