Anna is an outpatient mental health therapist at Crossroads Counseling Center where she provides therapeutic services to children and adults ages 6 and older. Anna received her Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Olaf College and went on to earn her Master of Social Work degree from UW-Madison.

Anna takes a holistic perspective to therapy, collaborating with individuals to consider areas of their social, emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing as they relate to their mental health. Her clinical approach is client-centered and rooted in trauma-informed and strengths-based care. Anna prioritizes developing a genuine therapeutic relationship with her clients and creates a warm, compassionate setting to support them as they navigate mental health challenges. She honors a client’s lived experiences while empowering them to take meaningful steps towards growth with dignity and resilience.

She has worked with individuals navigating a wide range of experiences, including anxiety, depression, peer and family relationship challenges, stress, grief and loss, mood concerns, self-harming behaviors, a history of trauma, shame, and self-esteem/identity issues. She enjoys working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and identities and is committed to providing a non-judgmental space to explore and heal. Anna integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused, Narrative, and Trauma-Informed approaches, along with somatic, art, and family systems tools. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, running, yoga, spending time with loved ones, and making art.
