Crystal is an integrative relational and behavioral health therapist. My philosophy is rooted in the systemic approach, meaning the context of the issues an individual is facing impacts everyone around them which systemic therapists refer to as their “system.” Systems look different for every individual, however when one person is struggling (a common reason for seeking therapy), all involved will feel the gravity of the impact in some shape of form.
She most closely aligns with the narrative framework of therapy and finds this approach very helpful to her clients. Narrative therapy is based on how we story our lives and make meaning of those stories. When going through transitional periods often times clients become stuck with accepting challenges they face. Together, we can re-write your story shaping your preferred or desired narrative by acknowledging how societal expectations maybe blocking or saturating your story. Blending insight and self-compassion we can re-shape clients’ perspectives and as they begin to shift, healing starts to happen.
Crystal provides an open-minded, non-judgmental approach to therapy working collaboratively with clients, supporting them in their personal process. Trust, Rapport and a solid join are the trifecta of a beneficial and lasting therapeutic relationship. Never let stigma, fear, judgment or societal messages keep you from seeking support you deserve. Crystal is a passionate advocate for mental health and the value therapy provides to all.
